Joomla! World Conference 2015 will be held on 06-08 November 2015 in Bangalore India. This conference, which has been held for the 4th time, will be held in Asia for the very first time. The 3 days conference consists of variety interesting activities including the speeches given by professionals from internet industry.
The existence of PI1M enables the rural community to obtain facilities to the same extent as in the city, as PI1M equipped with broadband internet connection speed of at least 4 megabits per second (Mbps) and advanced IT hardware. PI1M provides exposure of ICT technology to the rural community. Thus, it helps them to improve their standard of living by utilizing the advantage of the Internet.
PI1M focused on providing internet access services to local communities in underserved areas. PI1M in Mukim of Linggi developed the first centre in the district of Port Dickson. Total PI1M which has been developed in Negeri Sembilan are 28 centres as of 15 February 2015. MCMC will continue monitoring centres that are under construction to ensure Malaysians in rural areas connected to broadband facilities.
Residents in Mukim of Linggi, Port Dickson are now able to enjoy broadband facilities with the establishment of the 1Malaysia Internet Centres (PI1M) developed by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). PI1M is implemented by MCMC under the Universal Service Provider Program, better known as USP.
The opening ceremony took place on March 15, 2015 and was officially opened by the Chief Minister of Negeri Sembilan, Dato ‘Seri Utama Haji Muhammad bin Haji Hasan. Chief Development Officer MCMC Industry, Dato ‘Mohd Ali Hanafi was also present together with the representatives from Government Departments and MCMC from state and district levels, the communications services company, headmen, JKKK and local communities from Mukimof Linggi
Open Source communities in Malaysia were given a chance to attend Microsoft’s Bina conference in Kuala Lumpur. The event was held at TMCC KL on 13th September. It was attended by many web developers from all part of the country.
Moodle (acronym for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is a free software e-learning platform, also known as a Learning Management System, or Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and enable educators to create their own private website filled with dynamic courses that extend learning, any time, anywhere.
On 24th February until 28th February 2014, Joomla! 3.2 training was conducted by MU DOT MY. Participants came from various companies and institutions such as UiTM Shah Alam, Maslow Trainers and Consultant and Malaysian Society for Quality In Health.
From 16 to 20th of December 2013, MU DOT MY conducted Joomla! 3.2 training. The training was attended by 5 participants. This five-day course covers the basic level of Joomla! up to the professional level.
On 25th until 29th November 2013, MU DOT MY was chosen to conduct training sessions for ASEAN Cyberkids Camp (ACC) 2013. This camp was held at Flamingo Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. This year will be our third year conducting this session.
This 5 days camp was about learning courses such as Introduction to Maxis Cyberkids Portal, Short Film editing, Open Source Application, Android Application and teachers training.
On the official closing ceremony of ACC, Minister of Communication and Multimedia, Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek has visited our booth to show his concern about the training outcomes from this camp.

In every training session, MU DOT MY provides extra incentive to delegates that active in giving their cooperation in the camp. This includes Android phone from Lenovo, Philips’s headphones and many more.I
This camp was enlightened by the presence of OKU delegate from SMPKV Shah Alam, Quak Zhi Ren who was very active in person giving his ideas and doing activities along with other delegates.
To maintain excellence of MU DOT MY, in the course of future conduct, MU DOT MY also provides an online assessment platform so that participants to provide feedback on courses conducted.
