Malaysia Open Source Conference 2017

Malaysia Open Source Conference 2017 (MOSCMY 2017) will be held on 17th May until 19th May 2017 at University Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi, Selangor. MOSCMY is the largest “Teh Tarik Session” for open source community in Malaysia. This event gathers CEOs and leaders, vendors, consultants, associations and regulators from Malaysia and around the world to address mutual challenges and share information on Open Source Software. MOSCMY 2017 theme is “Open Source in Financial Services” to explore the Open Source software and technology at the Enterprise environment to be used worldwide.

Date: 17-19 May 2017 (Wednesday till Friday)

Time: 9am till 5pm

Venue: Faculty of Information Science & Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi, Selangor.

There will be talks and tutorials, competition, demonstration booth, and Birds of a Feather session in MOSCMY 2017. The trainer of MU DOT MY PLT, Mr Sam Suresh is one of the speakers in MOSCMY 2017. He will deliver a topic about “Your Open Source Smart Home” to talk about how you can use Open Source tools to convert your home into connected smart home. Besides, he will also highlight the evolution of technology and the importance of open source. Another topic about “Using CMS for Web Portals” will highlight the advantage of using Joomla! or WordPress for web portals was submitted.

Each ticket is RM360. PayPal payment gateway, registration by Local Order (government) or payment by cheque are accepted. Offline payment is available if you could not use PayPal Payment Gateway.
